At Abernethy, we have the most romantic and scenic wedding locations in Oregon. Located just 20 minutes outside of Portland, Abernethy is the ideal location for a large outdoor wedding or an intimate indoor affair. With 4,200 square feet of natural grasses and lavish gardens, as well as an indoor ballroom, ample parking we are able to create the outdoor or indoor wedding and reception you have always dreamed of.

Our Gardens

With lavish grasses, gentle creeks, flourishing gardens, meandering walkways, and stunning waterfalls, Abigail’s Garden and Veiled Garden at Abernethy are ideal locations for your outdoor wedding. In Abigail’s Garden magical weeping willows, natural grasses, and the sounds of Abernethy Creek will surround you. Follow your wedding with a reception on the hill in our 60’ by 70’ tent. With a full-bar, dance floor, lower garden for photo opportunities, and on-site catering, your wedding and reception will be unforgettable.

Veiled Garden provides an intimate setting for your spring, summer, or fall wedding. Enclosed in a canopy of trees and bordered by a meandering creek, you won’t find a more romantic setting to take your vows. Take a short walk from Veiled Garden to The Ballroom for your reception where we have media available, dance floor, and an outdoor patio that is perfect for champagne toasts and serving your guests.

The Ballroom at Abernethy

An elegant marble entry ushers guests into a breathtaking ballroom, complete with recessed ceilings and chandeliers. Designed with a neutral color palette, floor to ceiling windows, an outdoor patio, and completed with all of the essential conveniences, The Ballroom at Abernethy is both a beautiful and highly adaptable space for your reception or winter ceremony.

As a food artist, our award-winning chef creates and celebrates your wedding day cuisine. Our exclusive on-site catering service allows you the freedom to choose the menu that best fits your desires and budget.
